When a Camelot 4 was the largest available, you had to improvise. Guide book still has the scars :-) Photo by Matt

From a great day working through the Brimham classic and not so classic offwidths, we managed 13 before Giggling Crack had the last laugh.
Not sure if there was a larger than a Camelot 4 available in the UK at the time, after the lead we dropped the rope and hung off the placement. It held, the guidebook fantailed and still have the imprint of the cams teeth on the cover to remind me of a classic day.

1992, awesome! Poor guide book. I was climbing a lot at Brimham at that time and probably bumped into you or saw you climbing.

More than likely, I spent a few summers working for the YDNP at the time and lived in Grassington so a very local crag, was also easy to get to from my parents house near Wetherby. Still one of my favourite crags in the UK.
