Early morning visit for some exercise. Unfortunately, most of the crag was still very wet from overnight rain apart from this wall [see the wet shine on my jacket].
I made the first ascent of this problem back in September 1979 and its always been a favorite. However, last time I tried it a couple of years ago I failed miserably so I was keen to see if things had changed for the better?
On this flying visit, I managed the traverse on my second go, much to my surprise as I have done very little climbing this year, so quite chuffed!
However, my joy quickly turned to anger and disappointment when I noticed signs of some holds been improved / chipped ... I cannot write here how I really feel about such despicable actions!
