The quarry appeared in the 1979 North of England guide by Stew Wilson and Ron Kenyon. It's called Marske Quarry in that and 19 routes are described dating from the sixties . There's even a photo of Paul Ingham and Tony Maclean climbing on it. I could email you some photos of the pages if required? I've not climbed on it myself - it looked far too shoddy compared to other crags nearby!
