Great effort but how does this differ from Bloodsport: http://www.ukclimbing.com/images/dbpage.html?id=69757 ?? The description and photo in Northumberland Bouldering don't show what the difference might be.

BTW at first I thought this was a repeat of Bloodsport which is in itself very impressive!

Bloodsport doesnt go to the pocket, it goes to a crimp about 2 feet to the right of it, then tops out straight up rather than along the rail. Bloodsport LH eliminates the crimp.

Okay so what is Andy Earl on in his photo?

Andy Earl was working Bloodsport LH so I'm told. Apparently he was intending the line to go to the pocket with a provisional grade of 8B, then finished it to the crimp instead. I heard the media took hold of the original projected line and missed that he finished it a different way. If I'm wrong on this I'd love to know, but I believe that's the way Bloodsport stands at the mo.

Cool useful info for the historical record. Good ascent and good photos.
