The contrast between the ambient light, and the flash make that whole boulder look like it's been photoshopped in. Too artificial for my tastes, but the composition's nice.

Or maybe the fading light is because the generator for the floodlight was running out of fuel. Sorry, can't take this sort of thing seriously.

Slightly harsh comments, for a pic that has obviously had some thought and craft put into it and is scoring 5. Having said that I think for my taste it would be improved with a bit more balance between natural and artifical light.
Good shot though, have another 5.
