Emma, I have a photo of Pat Littlejohn rapping down this in about 1985(?) taken by Malcolm Campbell. Malc gave it to me for the 1985 guide but it never got used and I must have forgotten to give it back. I'll send it to Paul as I have his email address. Even if it's no good or it's too late, it's quite interesting. Is Cornish Cream Pat's route? Jon de M.

Hi Jon, yes it is Pat's route - that sounds interesting and we would love to see that photo - unfortunately it's too late for the new North Pembroke guide which has just gone to print - expected before Easter (its fantastically inspiring with all those obscure areas now really opened up to all, with the new and clear graphic layout..courtesy of Steve Quinton and crew :-) But hopefully we maybe able to use the photo in a promo article about North Pembroke, which one of us will get around to doing at some point...such a lot of cool climbing on this north coast! And this route is sooo like Cornish granite - I can see why Pat and Malcolm gave it this name! Thanks Jon..look forward to seeing the photo :-)

Hopefully the "new definitive CC North Pembroke guide" will sort the grade!

Yep..apoologies, my error..I believe it is going in at E3, though I think some 'non 'ol school climbers' may find it a rather stiff proposition at this grade! Certainly a typical Littlejohn route :-)
