We got stuck in holiday traffic because the only good forecast coincided with the weekend! Consequently we didn't get to Glen Nevis until 4pm, so this was a quick dash up Stob Ban, getting to the summit at 7pm, just before the rain...

Dave, I have just noticed how the light really displays the difficultly of descending off the Ben in winter down this side, all those gullies to avoid!

I agree, Sean. I have another photo which I might put up later, where Five Finger Gully is much more highlighted by the light conditions. The scale is not always that obvious in 'normal' flat light!
