Great photo Nick, how long was your shutter speed ?

Exposure was 2 minutes give or take, I was stood in freezing water with a very dodgy tripod position at the time, kept thinking if this lot tips up I'm in the doo:)
Thanks for the nice comments

Thanks for the nice comments
Did you use a flash to paint the rocks or is that just a bit of moon light peeking though the trees?

I can see why some folk might like this, but for me it's had far too much post-processing - sky too dark and grey, grainy, artificial lighting etc. I'd like to see the raw image (or just slightly tweaked), as I bet it's actually quite nice

Actually the shot is how I saw it, I think under exposing the sky adds emphasis to the peak lit by the sun, but everyone is entitled to an opinion. I thank you for yours :)

This has been processed beautifully - The comps lovely, and the light path leads you nicely to the hill.

Lovely but shame about the dry ice 'Athena' water

I know what you mean it's just a look I like I took others without the long exposure and it didn't work as well, but photography is very subjective :)

I don't understand UKC voting, this is a stunning shot that's had alot of thought put into it. I'm with Fish-Rider, love the way the lgiht takes you up the hill. Have a 5.
