Well done, great atmosphere.

Lovely shot, the composition works a treat. The cloud helps to lead your eye straight to the person as well as making them stand out... mirroring of the ridge finishes it off beautifully! great shot

Gosh Sean, that's the best ever shot of Commando Ridge. The spray in the mouth of the Great Zawn works its magic, doesn't it...

Hi Sean,
I have moved to New Zealand and used to climb at Bosigran a lot but never got a great photo. I was wondering if I could have a full resolution version of this amassing photo.
You would make me a very happy man.
Many thanks.

Thanks for all the kind comments. I must admit that I was initially hoping for better light as I climbed down beside the Ridge. The rest of Bosigran was in full sun, but this mist seemed to cling stubbornly to the ridge. I think I was on the belay on Little Brown Jug and hoped that I could get a little more contrast into the resulting image. I didn't know I had captured two climbers on the route until I processed the image later. As there was very little colour I opted for a Sepia effect. I'd taken a shot the previous day but the light really was piss poor. Only when I had processed the image did I fully realise that this photo was a little bit special.

Really nice! Sean
Am sure Kester Randall would be very happy if you gave him a free high resolution image. But that's taking the the piss a bit even asking as it devalues photographers work giving it away for free.
It would be differant if he offered to pay

Awesome picture. I love it when it does that with the light down there.
