The sunsets from Kalymnos were amazing. This is attempt to capture the feel of them through HDR techniques. Comments and critiques welcome.

Nicely composed, not a huge fan of HDR but this is not overly cooked, maybe the Telendos crags could be darker for a more realistic look though(?)

Nice image Dan. It's nice seeing an HDR image which hasn't taken the technique to extremes.
How did you get the waves to look so crisp using HDR? I would have thought they would have moved by the time you could fire off a few shots?

For moving segments like the waves, I generally use a single exposure to get over the alignment issues.
So for this one I created the HDR image from 3 RAWs, then put one of the original exposures under it and used layer masksing to reveal bits of it.

Great shot not a great fan of HDR, its usually over done, this isn't. Can't wait to get back there myself.
