What We Are All About
The Trust was setup in spring of 2006 with an aim of providing alternative education through the outdoors for young people across the United Kingdom.
We offer all young people aged 11 to 25 the chance to experience new activities and opportunities that otherwise would not have been available to them. We fund specific programs which are designed for those who are engaged in crime or are identified as being most at risk of offending, truancy or social exclusion. The aim is to develop their self esteem and sense of accountability to enable them to make positive changes in their lives.
We provide funding for alternative education training that is specific to the young persons needs. We support, through funding, projects that are for the benefit of young people and people in need that may help with accommodation, education, clothing and many other physical needs.
We consider all projects that we can support and decide which ones to support based on the closeness of the project with our objectives as a charitable trust.
