We were there (Dirc Mhor) a couple of weeks ago. It was blizzarding so we didn't go up the ravine - all the big holes were hidden by a thin layer of snow. So went up Dirc Bheag instead, which is impressive in its own right. We were staying at the Raeburn Hut and made the mistake of walking from there - the going is awful, endless heather and tussocks with some hidden boulders for good measure. It's well worth taking in Meall nan Eagan for the views.

Been meaning to check out the other Dirc; maybe a walk through both would be a good day?

Any idea what the rock climbing in Dirc Mhor is like - good esoteric or bad esoteric?!

The E2s are all good. The grading is a bit random (one of them is more like HVS), but all definitely worth doing. Nice rock, and definitely no queues. Worth a trip once you have done everything on Creag Death at the grade. The E5s all look awesome. Just need to up the grade a bit...
