The Llanberis Mountain Film Festival team are very proud to release the official trailer for the relaunch of the festival on the 6-8th March.

We have a brilliant range of films across the weekend with something to interest everyone, from Himalayan first ascents to Scottish winter suffering, tales of expeditions past from legendary climbers through to inspirational journeys by modern adventurers.

You will also be able to hear from a fantastic range of speakers starting with Mick Fowler who is opening the festival on the Friday evening. On Saturday Tim Emmett will be speaking at the Beacon Climbing Centre followed by a fabulous panel of Inspirational Women outdoor athletes and professionals talking at Electric Mountain and speaking at Surflines exploratory sea kayaker, climber and Piolets d’Or nominee Olly Sanders telling of his Greenland expeditions.
On the Sunday we have a utterly breath taking line up of climbers who have all taken on the challenge of the UK's first ever E9, The Indian Face. We have Johnny Dawes, Nick Dixon, Neil Gresham, James Mchaffie and the young and bright talent of Calum Muskett.

On both days you can also take advantage of any number of activities organised by local Mountain Training providers and the Association of Mountaineering Instructors, so whatever the weather you will be able to make the most of the majestic surroundings of Llanberis.

The tickets range form £5-12 with an extra special weekend VIP ticket for £35 which includes the opening event, world famous pub quiz, a free drink and the closing party plus a goody bag worth over £50! So if our amazing trailer hasn’t convinced you sure that will…

HI Dom,

We're sorry to hear you feel the previous events have been poorly organised but are really very glad you had a great time as well!

We're not sure if you are aware but, unlike a large number of other festivals, LLAMFF is entirely dependant upon a team of volunteers. that is not only during the delivery of the festival, like many others, but also in the build up. We have no paid staff what so ever. In addition to relaunching this year with a zero balance sheet we have worked hard to tyr and build up sponsor links and support across the area and nationwide. We love the challenege and are super psyched to be pinging back on people radars. Its all hands to the pumps and we really hope you are able to come along and we would welcome the chance to chat with you about ideas of how we can improve for future years.

Kind regards

LLAMFF director team

Trailer is below…looks like there are embed code issues with UKC/YouTube so it dropped off. It was here a little while back shortly after the post. Love it. It represents the area and sentiment well.

Trailer now back in the post. Apologies for this missing for a couple of days. There was a problem with the embed code.
