I have places available on a guided trip to the desert climbing paradise that is Wadi Rum in Jordan. This is a world class trad climbing destination with routes of all grades. It is a suitable destination for any keen climber with a sense of adventure. In November there are direct flights from Gatwick to Aqaba with Easyjet. Aqaba is around 1 hours drive from Wadi Rum, meaning that we should be able to climb on everyday of the trip.

Dates:

Week 1: Sat 4 November to Sat 11 November (2 places available)

Week 2: Sat 11 November to Sat 18 November (2 places available)

Prices:

£2625 per person for seven days of 1:2 guiding. 

£4920 for seven days of 1:1 guiding. 

Prices Include:

• 7 days of guiding with an IFMGA Mountain Guide
• All guiding expenses 
• Return transfer from Aqaba airport to wadi rum
• 7 nights half board accommodation in wadi rum

It does not include:

• Flights and travel from home
• Travel insurance and vacinations
• Personal climbing gear
• Lunches and bar bill 
• Any taxis we take to access route (I’d budget £100ish for this)
• Any touristy stuff (taking a rest day and going to Petra for example)

I climbed there many years ago and it's truly incredible.  I did go to Petra after a week of climbing in Wadi Ram and it made me so angry that anyone would chip into the rock there, I was very unimpressed.  Stay in Wadi Ram and count camels.
