The newly refurbished, Parthian Climbing Manchester has the foundations to become one of the busiest climbing centres in the UK, and we are looking for a Centre Manager with the passion and drive to make this happen.

As our Centre Manager you must have experience in managing and leading a passionate team to attain any targets or goals set. You must be highly motivated and have the desire to run the site as an individual business, using our Senior Management team to support you. Your key role in addition to building a great team will be generating new business, identifying, and capitalising on any and all opportunities to make the business commercially successful as well as delivering marketing initiatives to attract new and returning customers. Additionally, the commercially astute Centre Manager will be responsible for the profitability of the centre.
You will be responsible for creating an atmosphere where customers can have fun, relax, meet new friends and old, and improve their fitness in an inclusive climbing environment, underpinned by the highest standards of safety, customer service and positive team engagement. Open every day from morning until late evening, managing our centres requires an energetic and self-motivated person, able to motivate a team and ensure our customers have a fantastic experience during every visit leaving them looking forward to their next.
Parthian Climbing Manchester is the original Parthian Climbing site, and we are excited about developing and expanding our heritage site. The Parthian Climbing Manchester Manager will be well supported by an experienced company management team and will play a key role in the future development of the company. We will provide training and development to ensure that they flourish in the role and grow with the company.

Parthian Climbing Manchester Duty Manager
We are looking for passionate climbers to join our team as Duty Managers.
We have been the market leader in delivering a fun, inclusive, and rewarding indoor climbing experiences since the opening of our first centre in the amazing St Benedict’s Church, Manchester, in 2005. We offer climbing for everyone, building a passionate community that inspires and grows the next generation of climbers.
During their time in the centre, our customers, young and old, novice to experienced, can also enjoy delicious, locally sourced food and drinks from our café and purchase climbing clothing and equipment from our shop.
Our Duty Managers are responsible for the day to day running of the centre, mentoring the instructor and reception team to create an atmosphere where customers can have fun, try climbing for the first time, and improve their fitness in an inclusive environment, underpinned by the highest standards of safety, customer service and positive team engagement. In line with our opening hours it is vital that our duty manager team are prepared to work daytime, evening and weekend shifts.
As well as being responsible for the day to day running of the centre, each Duty Manager will have their own areas of responsibility to manage and develop with the support of the site and company Management team.
