Must be able to reach 200m if not more, have variable beam.. ideally a close range mini-lamp for preserving night vision.. Would like to run on 18650 batteries.

Petzl Duo with V4 Custom insert which cavers use: lots of settings 400 lumins max. Runs on AA though....

Well over 200m range. Rechargeable lithium/ion battery pack. Variable beam.
Well built, water resistant.
If you need serious lighting, it's a good choice.
