It turns out that my local branch of Tiso, had a wide selection of sizes so happy days, not so!
I tried on a pair of XL's and thought as I was trying them on that they fitted well. Around the upper stomach area great, around the backside great, around the crotch area great, upper thighs great, then I looked below the knee, and what the ****!!! The trouser was so long that there was enough spare to do half another pair, the snow gaiter was more like a pair of slippers, and the knee area was half way down my shin. Unless you're six foot four or over, these pants are useless as the trousers will just get caught up in your crampons or any jagged bit of rock/ice on the slopes.
I have to say that I'm totally surprised that ME would fail to see the problem, as I've had countless items of their clothing and have always been impressed. I even owned a pair of Karakorums way back and from memory they fitted like a glove and as you would expect for a mountain pant.
