Can anyone recommend a campsite in central Scotland (Stirling, Loch Lomond, Fife, Perthshire, ideally) that provides a superficial illusion of wildness plus basic facilities? Somewhere 3 & 4 year olds can run around in the woods and then get hosed down if necessary.
We'd usually go for Comrie Croft or Gimme Shelter in Inverkeithing (of all places), but the former is fully booked and we could do with a change from the latter, excellent though it is.
How about heading south to the Borders ? Tibbie Shiels: dark skies, lochside camping, fishing, campfires, woodlands, hills, pub grub, beer, sprogs welcome & ASBO's against drunks & noise after 10PM curfews firmly enforced.
