We have an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Centre Manger at one of our three climbing centres in the northwest of England. The deputy centre manager at LancasterWall will join a small, dynamic, committed team, supported by regional mangers of the Lakeland Climbing Centres.

This is an opportunity to contribute to the development and growth of our dedicated bouldering centre. This role will include all day-to-day duty manager tasks necessary to ensure the centre is safe, clean, and most importantly a welcoming centre for all visitors. It also includes some management level work, so if you have previous management experience in a leisure setting or are ready to step up to this extra responsibility, then this could be the job for you.

  • Salary: Range £25,000 to £26,500 dependent on experience
  • Job status: Permanent, Full-time
  • Hours: 40 per week, including evening and weekend shifts

About LancasterWall

Opening in 2021, LancasterWall boasts a modern, welcoming feel and features a 'Font style' boulder field design. With over 700 square meters of climbing surface with walls of all angles; ranging from shallow slabs to extreme overhangs. It also features a modern training area, circuits, digi and Kilter boards, café, and gear shop. The wall is conveniently located within walking distance of the town centre and train station.
