The wonderful horsehoe ridge of Coire Glas is one of the unsung gems of the central highlands. Far more interesting than the usual up and back to the summit from the Cam Bealach the baggers use to 'tick' the 2 munros. The views down Loch Lochy and Loch Ness from Sean Mheall are fantastic and the ridge holds much interest, as does the east ridge of Meall a Choire Ghlais. The extensive hydro scheme works of this coire are now underway (summer 2023) and this beautiful coire will now be irrevocably changed.
This summit is listed in Munros, Marilyns, Britain's Major Mountains, UK 3000ers hill lists.
