A superb line up the left side of the East face of Canigou. although the updated topo gives the first pitch as 5c, there is nothing harder than 5b on the whole route.
8 pitches of bolted climbing take you some 330metres up the face, all belays have 2 bolts and chains.
Followed by circa 200m ridge without any bolts or chains taking you to the summit of Canigou. 3 to 4 small to medium friends and a few slings to use as threads are sufficient to protect this section.
