45m, 2 pitches. West Side of North buttress (Stacach ridge) is split by an obvious gully narrowing into a chockstone chimney. This is the line of the route.
1. 30m Climb the gully/ chimney initially an awkward rock groove then bridging the big chockstone to a small terrace. Block belay. Summer scramble route up North buttress passes behind here.
2. 15m Immediately above chimney break right on easy ledges to traverse the buttress until the upper buttress shows more turf and ascend to top.
Climbing in 1 pitch will probably result in rope drag.
