Dates: 1 March to 30 June
Reason: Nesting Birds
There are no applied bird restriction along the Wallsend cliff at present, (2022) However due to it's more isolated nature and available nesting ledges, it is often populated with breeding pairs of seabird through the season. As well as a Ravens nest in the Bigger Peace area.
Be sensible and avoid any routes close to nesting birds and advise others of nests, to leave them in peace. They will all be gone by mid July.

βeta: As a warm up on a damp day this felt distinctly unnerving with brittle rock and spaced bolts. The moves are nice enough, but another staple or two would be appreciated. A breaking hold could lead to a loooooong fall. | βeta?

βeta: My first OS 6a so was quite chuffed. seemed easy although space between 3rd and 4th bolt is a huge gap and once pulled out if i feel would be a massive fall being near 2 hitting the ground so a little scary. Love it! | βeta?
