The slightly airy top of A Hundred Bananas © Danmg123
A minor venue secluded in the bluebell and fairy woodland which extends west from Ilkley town. Its northerly aspect does mean that things might need a brush to get rid of woodland detritus.
The majority of the documented problems sit on public land owned by Bradford Council. However all problems are very close indeed to people's houses. As such, a discrete approach is strongly advised; no groups of more than two people ideally and if others are already there perhaps go elsewhere. Keep noise to a minimum and no lamping / night climbing.
Park on or near Hollin Hall Drive, taking care not to block access in any way, and follow the path up beside the fence until the upper boulders are seen. If you get to Panorama Drive and the houses, you've overshot.
The majority of the crag is open access being owned by Bradford Council. The Hundred Eyes boulder however is within privately owned woods.
The owner Paul has agreed to allow climbing to continue on this block on the proviso that anyone wishing to climb there call ahead on 07879 688141 to let him know.
