One of the most prominent peaks in the Rhinogau range hosts a fine collection of Rhinog grit crags on it's Eastern slopes, including Llechau Mawr and Min Pistyl. North East facing so great in summer, but cold and dank in winter. Some very fine slab / wall climbing, solitude, and stunning views make this one of the essential Rhinnog crags, worth visiting by any climber.
Take a minor road west off the A470, half a mile South of Branaber. Follow this for a couple of miles and park after the second gate, before the forest. Take a small pleasant path through this until rugged moorland is reach. Use one's initiative from here. 50 mins or so.
