A huge remote mountain crag overlooking Llyn Lliwbran. A neglected crag but one which contains some classic lines, especially around HVS to E1. The routes are likely to be dirty and vegetated, even the starred ones. Some may require more serious cleaning than others. With the easier access to this crag now, it deserves more attention and the routes should clean up with traffic. It can hold damp after rain, and probably requires at least a good few days of warm weather to dry out sufficiently.
I believe it is now possible to park up the road in Cwn Croes, near to Nant Y Llyn, and follow the stream up the hill into the Access Land. The crag is approached around the lake.
21 Jul 22 - permitted path signed up through fields from Nant Y Llyn. Parking is just beyond on a gravel patch on left. Don't obstruct the gates.
At the moment the crag is a picture of the hanging gardens of Babylone. Did Aardwark (HVS) which required much cleaning. Certainly a crag for the more adventurous.
