A minor quarry of local interest only. If you like your routes steep, technical and sustained you could do worse than spend an afternoon here. Nearly every route kicks in as soon as you step off the floor, and rarely lets up before you're sitting on the top.
Although only a minor venue, the crag can be a useful retreat from the wind, being relatively sheltered. Almost all the climbs are on southwest-facing walls, and the crag can be a sun trap on fine afternoons.
Many of the routes are overgrown with ferns and/or heather. Some of the horizontal breaks have a lot of grit that washes into them after rain and may, therefore, need brushing.
