A bouldering crag of 6 walls, 3-5 metres high. A pleasant outlook, quick-drying and good landings.
Also a few outlying problems.
There is no official right of access, but the rocks lie very near a footpath. Park sensibly in the pull-in next to the gate at SD 780 628 (GPS Coordinates). You can see the first wall across the field. If you have several cars, leave some at Giggleswick Station. As livestock is often in the field, no dogs please.
The original topo was produced byTom Phillips on WOW - this has now been updated and hosted on unknownstones.com by Paul Clarke.
Dave's comments acted upon - routes now agree with topo on Unknown Stones" website. lionel - 06/Oct/15 |

Had a good afternoon here despite strong winds and intermittent showers. The rock dries quickly and friction is good. A short walk in and good landings. The downloadable topo is easy to follow but the numbering on this and the UKC database doesn't always correspond and may lead to confusion if you use the logbooks. Now that there are several recent additions and the crag now features in the new YG Vol 2 guidebook it might be a good idea to re-name all the problems and up-date the topo?
