The bouldering at Anston Stones Wood all takes place on land owned by Anston Parish Council. To preserve the good relationship that climbers have with the Parish Council, The British Mountaineering Council have agreed the following guidelines which we ask all climbers to adhere to:

Rockfax Description
From sitting (actually sitting) at the often-soapy tufa gain the half-height feature line then leave this using tweaky pockets. A slightly easier variation finish left up The Phoenix is also good and a bit less gnarly on the digits. © Rockfax
UKC Logbook Description
From sitting. Climb out from the corner undercutting the tufa and slapping left for crimp. From here climb through the sloping rail and up via pockets to finish matched on edges.
