The peak of A' Chir lies on the narrow rocky ridge between Beinn Tarsuinn and Cir Mhor. This hosts one of the best classic ridge traverses in Scotland. The rock climbing is concentrated in Coire Daingean, on the east flank of the ridge to the south of the peak. The west face of the ridge consists of extensive, though largely vegetated areas of slabby rock with limited climbing.
Approach time: 2.5 hours
Think you'd have to go out of your way looking for difficulties to make the ridge traverse VD...? Andy Moles - 24/May/10 |
