Quarried limestone. Tidal but the approach is only effected by very high tides. The climbing itself is none tidal being above the beach on a wide grassy terrace. 4 decent traverse lines from f6a+ to low f7a. All are quite fingery and sustained at their grades.
Park by the RNLI car park. Head up the road and turn down lon swnt. Keep left on sea view terrace to the gate. Follow path and fork left to meet the coastal path. Follow this to the bottom of the caravan site. Go through gate and down the slope to break right into the beach. Turn right and walk past the first buttress ( royal charter wall ) The easiest way from here to reach the problems is to gain the large flat ledge beneath the next undercut buttress along on the right and walk easily along this, gaining the upper terrace via the easy stepped ledges just before the shelf ends. 15 minutes from the car.
Coastal. Tide may effect the access at very high tides but easy to see the tide coming in/out.
