Approach notes

Tricky!

If approaching from Le Menil on the D486 heading NE at the Col du Menil turn R down a minor road - Les Fenesses. After a hairpin bend R turn R along a smaller road, le Frenat. Follow this SW for about 500m. There is a picnic bench on the R and 100m afterwards a dirt track goes R. Park here. At the end of the parking area a path (marked with white sign with a dark blue cross) heads R into the trees. This eventually leads into a level track which goes I to the old quarry floor.
