Two artifical boulders located within West Stow Country Park and Anglo Saxon Village. There is a small gap between them and the two form a rough cresent shape. Soft landing is provided by a bed of sand. Boulder mat not really needed but take one or a bit of matting to keep the sand off your rock shoes. Probably of interest for locals only or a curious passerby.
West Stow Anglo-Saxon Village is closed under the national lockdown restrictions. This unique, reconstructed village and Anglo-Saxon museum, surrounded by the 125 acres that makes up the West Stow Country Park, is a must see for history enthusiasts. The Anglo Saxon Village, based on the site of an excavation, depicts life in early Anglo-Saxon times (circa 420 to 650 AD).
Main gate is locked in the evenings and there is a paid car park but you can park across the road for free.
