Raz DWB area - to the right of the German 10.5cm gun casemate © Panoramio
At the very tip of Raz island is a 'gully' with a steep face on the eastern side - looks like some potential 'deep water bouldering'.
Cross the causeway and scramble round the eastern side of the fort. It may be possible to drive across the causeway and park by the fort.
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CROSS THE CAUSEWAY IF THE SEA IS OVER IT! A very strong current runs out of the bay and, should you get washed off, the next stop is the Isle of Wight!
No bird restrictions.
