A beautiful spot out on the headland between Portsoy and Sandend. There are climbs with just about every aspect ensuring you can always climb in the sun. The rock is generally sound although you can still encounter the odd shoogly hold.
High tide affects some routes, but most are accessible via low level traverses.
Nice spot, would be a great intro to sea cliff climbing. Some of the grades are very soft indeed but maybe this will settle out in the new guide. DaveHK - 11/Apr/23 |

This is a sea cliff in miniature! Really pleasant spot, easy access, would be a great place to practice abseil/ropes/rockhopping before heading for big stuff elsewhere.
ACCESS: The guidebook directions are based on the outdoor swimming pool. Sadly the pool is now closed, and the road signs are no longer there. From the housing estate at the West end of the village, take Park Road and follow your nose to the clifftop parking area sarah hawker - 15/Jul/15 |
