Kegl is situated at the foot of Rombon and gives a fine view of the Bovec basin. There are many easy routes and so this is a good place for beginners. Great quality rock, shady patches and easy access make this crag a great option.
To get to Sector A walk back the way you came from the car parking area, past the large water trough. Follow the footpath signposted Rombon uphill for about 5 minutes and the crag will appear on your right.
To get to the other sectors walk ahead from the car parking area, through the farm and a couple of gates then follow the signs for the crag uphill to the left.
If the 3 or 4 car parking spaces are full there is a large layby about 400m back down the road.
Climbed in Sector A today, fantastic, really nice easy routes, well protected, made a great break from kayaking in the Soca Valley! gjh - 06/Aug/14 |
