A fine cliff in a most unusual setting. The base of the cliff is the roof of a tunnel built to protect the railway from falling rocks (and falling climbers perhaps??). The flat gravel base is a superb spot for sunbathing and belaying, though care is required as the edge shelves away and it is a long drop to the rocks and sea far below. Also access is a little tricky so this is not an ideal venue for children or the timid.
See Mini-guide. Walk down takes 10 minutes not 20. There is fixed rope on one exposed bit - it is easy.
