βeta: You'll need approx 25m of rope to fix to the belay ledge. This is a pretty physical bit of jumaring and left me tired. You need a lot more gear than you think for the climbing itself, it has about 8 bolts but needs a lot of cams and a few wires as well. You also need loads of slings to extend everything as the drag can be bad if you don't. I tried working it with a belayer on the ground and it doesn't work; don't bother. Essentially the faff level is very very high unless your belayer is willing and able to jumar up to the ledge each session and hang around up there. Also bring a pee bottle up to the ledge for extended belay sessions! | βeta? | |
