Overview

Hi there! My name is Stewart but everyone knows me as Scoob. I am a friendly fun freelance outdoor instructor who loves the outdoors: teaching and learning and passing on knowledge and 'wisdom'. Watching people learn new skills and developing them to find confidence and love for the outdoors really makes me happy. I am based near mid Wales but you will often find me in Scotland. I am a vastly experienced Summer Mountain Leader (since 1994) and RCI (2004). I am an overseas Trek Leader, having run over 30 trips and expeditions to South America - from Ecuador to Patagonia and all mountainous places in between plus Alaska, Norway, Spain, Jordan, Nepal and New Zealand. I am available for instructing and leading. I am slowly adding my logbook to UKC having found some old diaries but my main current stomping grounds will remain nearer to home until this pandemic eases.
