So, if you are based in London, Surrey, Sussex, Hampshire, South Yorkshire or Basildon in Essex, there will be a High Sports climbing centre close by.

Climbing Wall Manager

We are looking for a Climbing Wall Manager for our flagship site at the K2 Leisure Centre in Crawley, West Sussex.

This is a full time position which will require the successful candidate to work a range of shifts including some evenings and weekends.

You will have responsibility for managing a team of instructors and supervisors, delivering high quality instructed sessions and overseeing the safe operation of the climbing wall.

Whilst it is desirable that the ideal candidate should have an SPA or CWA, the role has a much wider range.

Duties will include:

The Safety and Maintenance of the centre
Quality of climbing provision and instructed sessions
Banking and till reconciliation
Management of casual staff including rotas
Local marketing
Sales to key customers including schools
Overall presentation of the centre

This is a customer facing role and you should have some customer service experience and be able to demonstrate sound numeracy and literacy skills.

Marketing and/or sales experience would be considered highly beneficial.

This isnt exactly related, but are there any part time jobs for a 16 year old(17 in november) at Crawley? I had previously emailed but had no reply.
