Award-winning film-maker Alistair Lee's trailer for this year's Sheffield Adventure Film Festival is proving a hit in its own right.

Event PR manager, Lissa Cook, says: “In just two week's we've had more hits for the promo video than we had in the whole of last year. More than 10,000 people have already watched it and there's still a month til the festival starts. Posts on sites like UKClimbing are getting big hit rates. A recent podcast interview with Leo Houlding after he topped out on The Prophet got 2,000 listens. With word spreading fast pushed by Twitter and Facebook we're finding events like Ian Parnell's recent expert night are selling out fast.”

Al Lee's latest film 'The Prophet' about Leo Houlding's decade long obsession with the new El Capitan route is showing at this year's festival. Plus there's a chance to see 'Father of the Pride' in which his 5 year old son Simon tackles a gritstone boulder.

Very well put together. Enjoyed it. Any idea what the background track is on the SAFF trailer? Couldn't see it on the credits.
