The questionnaire has 28 questions and should take around 10 minutes to fill out. We will use your feedback to help us shape the future of Rab. Thanks for taking the time to help us make our clothing and equipment the best in the world.

I filled it out, hit Send Entry, and nothing happened.
Checking the console, there was an error "An invalid form control with name='q11' is not focusable."
No error was shown against Q11 and due to my answer to Q10 it should have been optional. But I put a random answer for 11 and successfully submitted.
Thanks for letting us know. That should be fixed now.
For anyone that still has a problem submitting it the questionnaire, I think you'll just need to refresh the page first.
Lol, the text field for Q25 is too short by a factor of about five...
I could easily have given a critique of the design of numerous products but not enough space.
In reply to Paul Phillips - UKC and UKH:
Still having this problem. Have filled in 3 x now and lost each version! Hugely frustrating.
Cheers,
Stu
Thanks for the feedback. We'll look at adding bigger text input fields in these in the future.
I think you're using a cached version of the page that had the bug. We've had over 150 entries so far that have filled it in fine.

"Q10: Have you seen more or fewer people wearing Rab products when in the mountains/on the crag in the last 6 months?"
Surely there should be an option "I haven't noticed any change" !
> "Q10: Have you seen more or fewer people wearing Rab products when in the mountains/on the crag in the last 6 months?"

Or an 'it is not something I would notice' option
Tried twice, refreshed the page, but still doesn't work.
Average UK ladies dress size is 16, so you fail to cater for almost half of the female population.
I love the rab kit which I do have, but own very little due to not being the right size for ladies and the wrong shape for mens.
Filled it in, it wouldn't send, won't bother doing it again.
In reply to TMM:
> If I were Rab’s marketing manager I would not be considering this attempt to engage with my consumer base to have been brand enhancing.
I answered the questionnaire with the intention of helping Rab. There are precious few companies able to produce (loss making?) specialist climbing kit/clothing - I count Rab as being one of them. They’re not perfect, but they’re definitely one of the best. I’m happy to help.

What makes you think I did not?
I made a full attempt at answering the questions provided and maxed out on the text boxes to try and provide some useful insight from a customer who has owned numerous bits of Rab kit over the years.
My point was that if you are going engage with customers and ask for their time then make sure the process works and you don't end up wasting the time of your customers which seems to have been a recurring theme on this thread. That is not a positive brand experience.
Worked 2nd time for me - 1st time it just closed. Luckily 'Google' seems to have remembered the free text elements I entered on the form which made it less painful when having to fill it in for the 2nd time.
I have given up, filled it in several times now, through the link in this thread and the link sent via email from UKC but still won't let me send. Checked all my answered and everything has something filled in.
Can you tell me what web browser you're using please?
I'm having similar browser issues. Using Chrome. Filled it in a few times now and click Submit and its failing. Restarted browser. Still the same.
Did you click on link in the orange box on the survey page to clear the browser cache? It's just above the start of the questionnaire. If you don't see that then please press Ctrl+F5 to refresh the browser first.
Surely the average dress size for physically active outdoor-pursuit following women is more relevant?
> Surely the average dress size for physically active outdoor-pursuit following women is more relevant?
Yes; that was exactly my thought; understanding your target market.
> Surely the average dress size for physically active outdoor-pursuit following women is more relevant?
Maybe if manufacturers actually made clothes to fit plus sized women they might be more likely to engage in outdoor pursuits, after all they go up to xxl in men's gear. But perhaps whilst its OK for fat blokes to exercise cuddly girls should take the hint and stick to the cafe rather than the crag???
This dig isnt just assumed at rab. Lots of bottom end outdoor manufacturers cater for 18-22, yet most top end brands so at 16.
As I said above I do own some rab gear which I love, infact that is why I'm complaining as I would like the option of buying more. Instead I find myself wearing porely fitting mens or low end budget kit, which in turn puts me off doing activities in poor conditions where top quality gear really makes the difference both for comfort and safety.
I see your point.
What web browser are you using please?
Clicked Here as requested. Filled it out and nothing happened when submitted. Why do we need to click here AND login (again)?
4 times filled out. Still won't send. Logged in cleared cache each time.
Some text fields too small.
Browser type is irrelevant, something wrong with the code. Browsers that work fine with MANY other interactive websites should do the same here.
The click here just clears the cache. If it's cleared the cookies too then there's something strange in the behaviour of your browser.
I ask what browser people are using as I can't reproduce any errors in the browsers I've tested and believe or not, some browsers/browser versions behave very differently. Usually Safari or Internet Explorer are the culprits.
The key thing is that is clearly something wrong with the code, after reading the above responses (ignoring the survey question related ones which are all valid anyway). If the cache is cleared (as evidenced by the blank fields each time it is loaded) and logged in, (which allows us to use this forum), then something is preventing the send to button from operating! Having just completed 3 other surveys today (must be something in the water or air) perfectly fine obviously something is not enabled. Is there a missing field somewhere that needs completing? I use Firefox.
:O You mean you want to gather data to help diagnose the issue and to see if there a pattern, then you can replicate it?! You fiend you. Unfortunately it works on my computer so I cannot help debug.
I would be careful about submitting personal data on this form, it seems to be in a beta testing stage. I'm not sure why all respondents have to give names and addresses anyway, if they're only used for posting prizes. It would be more secure to contact the winners and ask for contact details.
It's been submitted by nearly 600 people now and the results that have come through look good. I've just tried again from Firefox and it went straight through.
Would you mind submitting a fault report here please? https://www.ukclimbing.com/general/email.php#fault
It'll send some extra details about your browser so I can try and replicate your problem.
> Unfortunately it works on my computer so I cannot help debug.
It works on everything I've tested it on! Really frustrating
If it helps, my first attempt was on chrome, second on explorer (different computer) then third attempt via chrome again. I've filled in a survey monkey survey via chrome in the same period with no issues.
Went through all the steps then filled in the form, hit send... Nothing happened. Re- did it from scratch again... Same thing.. Won't send. Sorry but can't be bothered doing it for a third time.
I've just checked the results and it looks like you were successful on the first try to be honest. The Submit button is greyed out for you for this reason.
I've changed the form so if you've entered it, all the questions are hidden. A lot more obvious now.
Hi Paul, the submit button certainly didn't grey out on the first try and continued to "activate" (not sure what the technical term is) on subsequent clicks and attempts. Roughly when is it recorded as successful (would be before 0730 if on my first attempt).
I have subsequent gone back in and it worked on attempt 4.
Cheers,
Stu
I cant even access the survey,
it keeps saying log in to access the survey and when i do it just takes me to my account page?
Worth remembering that it’s not always the brand that dictates the sizes available, but the retailers.
It is mostly the brand – asking for special orders from shops has shown that. 14 is the biggest size for many manufacturers and that is just normal and not really large at all.
Can't tell if I've successfully submitted or not, looks like Rabs survey is like thier products...................coming apart at the seams!
Manufacturers don’t carry sizes that retailers aren’t buying.
The brand I work for frequently drops larger sizes before the start of the season because there’s not enough orders of those sizes to justify them.
Interesting to hear the other perspective.
> "...................coming apart at the seams!" - that's not a fault, it's new reactive venting now it's summer.......
