Can anyone recommend an insurance company that will cover a 80+ year old for multiple world wide trips which would include off piste skiing, bouldering, mountain rescue and all the other usual holiday cover. Cut off seems to be 75!  

the latest BMC underwriters seem to be covering 80 year olds.

Quotes my parents got just for a basic holidays was so astronomical they stopped travelling.

I may think different when the time comes but as I feel now when this happens to me I plan to travel uninsured if I can't afford it and deal with the consequences should the worst happen.

OP use a broker I suggest.  'online' is just for standard situations.  Yours is different and so the AI bot can't cope - but it is insurable (at a price and depending on existing med conditions)
