Although apparently developed a few years ago, I think this is a recent addition to the UKC database.

It sounds pretty esoteric, anyone on here actually visited?  Any comments beyond what's in the overview?

I took a walk to look at it as it’s only 20minutes from my house. The walk in was a bit of a chore, wouldn’t bother going back. That was in winter though, so the muddy, slippery path may have tainted my perspective.

Hi Sam, Norton Wood is easier to get to if you drive the track up into the woods from further down the A49. It is somewhere to go only if you have done everything else locally.

Some worthwhile routes and some less so (loose, undergraded).

Try it and report back.

Cheers.  It's definitely my closest crag (20 minutes) so will go and check it out.  Nothing like a bit of esoterica to brighten up the week

In reply to David Bowler:

Hi,

Could you please send me some guidebook photos?

Paid a first visit over the BH weekend. It's quite an adventure just getting there. Good fun but I haven't had my ego so smacked by a grade since I was in Joshua Tree! Make sure you pack a sense of humour - and a clip stick might be quite handy too.
