A random request - I had a message from a stranger asking if I had a copy of an article by Dave Gregory about our ascent of Igor Unchained in the California Needles.

I don't, and also don't know when (1990s?) or where (CC Journal?) it was published.

Asking on here is probably my best (and only!) bet for hunting it out.

Nothing listed under 'Igor Unchained' for Dave - I guess it could have a different title which will make it tricky to find - I'm not a member anymore so I can't access the actual journals.

If you email David Medcalf he will be able to send you PDF copies I think. I won't have access to a computer until 27th December but if anything looks like a possible title I can retrieve the articles for you.

Nothing from 1989-1999 that I can see.

Not a Bad Trip (1995) is the only possibly ambiguous title, if you could you have a quick look that would be really helpful. If that is a blank I will let the gut know.

Damn! I just recently threw away a large stack of climbing magazines, and I remember that article well. If I had to guess, I would say it was from around 1999 to 2001 in one of the British magazines (e.g., On The Edge or Climber).

His son (Bill Gregory) is on UKC and maybe he has details of the article?
