Does anyone know if central trinity on snowdon is looking to be in shape for Friday, or is it to be avoided?

Thanks in advance

There's not been any freeze thaw - gullies like that need lots of snow and then gentle thaw freeze for decent conditions. Also on that face there are rare plants so the gullies should really be avoided in sketchy nick

Aren't you a bit off-brand here?

I'm becoming obsessed with the seeming British obsession with gullies. The Winter Climbing Forecast app is giving "terrible", their lowest condition rating, to all the Trinity Face routes all week, whilst plenty of other stuff nearby is getting reasonable or even good (top rating). It's a gully - there's been no chance for the snow in it to consolidate and there is no base there either. Gullies are the last type of route to come into condition generally, for these reasons. Additionally, that face is a habitat for very rare plants, so on top of really crap climbing you would be endangering very rare plants and even possibly jeopardizing access for future climbers.

Go climb a ridge or an exposed buttress instead, it will be ace. Have you done Crib Lem? If not that's a fantastic target.

Best to read this about why it is a very bad idea to try Welsh winter climbs that are not in condition.
