I'm doing a masters next year in Sheffield and am looking at ways to earn a bit of money on a casual basis throughout the year. I've got an ML and plenty of experience leading DofE groups in schools. Any advice on how feasible finding casual work on DofE expeditions is and how to go about finding it would be much appreciated.

Try posting this in one of the Freelance Instructor groups on Facebook.
Tons of casual DofE work out there, esp if you have or can get your assessor's card. Have a look online for the commercial AAPs in your area and send them your CV. Peak season is May/June and Sept.
