India/China maps

I'm looking for the Army Map Series 1:250000 series map NH-44-2, which covers the area just to the north of the Indian/Chinese border around the Gangotri glacier. I've tried accessing the U Texas map website http://www.lib.utexas.edu/maps/ams/ (which must be one of the greatest places to look for maps) but they don't have an online copy.

Any suggestions as to where to get a copy? or a map which covers this area?

Also has anyone that the map sheets Derha Dun (NH-44-5)and Chini (NH-44-1) do not dovetail together?

if your in London the alpine club has a pretty good map library.

IIRC we got our Gangotri maps from Stanfords.

Otherwise have you tried the IMF in Delhi?

Is it really worth it? Google Earth + any decent trekking map or similar is better than any old topo.

Omni have some of the Soviet maps, but far from all, and that is a sensitive area:
