Hi, has anyone here been trekking or climbing in Iran/have any recomendations for guides, places to stay etc? We're considering a holiday there and don't know much about it yet. Thanks in advance!

I've spent some time out there including organising the trip Henry went on. Easy enough to to find places to stay out there. The hospitality of the locals is beyond anywhere else I've travelled.

I am planing to go ice climbing to Iran in Feb and for that I am in touch with Persian Pursuits, who are run by an Iranian lady. She got lots of local contacts. You could get in touch with her in terms of your trekking trip.
