Hi,
I'm considering buying a new 2/3 man mountain tent. In my youth I had a Wild Country Quasar (now Terra Nova) which was bomb-proof, but sadly is no more.
With a growing family with wild-camping expeditions and Duke of Edinburgh trips likely in the near future, what tents are out there ? I understand the Quasar is still made but my budget wont stretch to such a premium product !

Also, what features (good or bad) should I look out for when buying such a tent ?

Indeed, I use the Alpkit Kangri and can vouch for it's quality, and similarity to the Quasar. I review it briefly at the following link:
